Our Vision
We see Long Day Care in Australia in it’s current form falling short of the potential benefit our facilities can offer their communities. In response, we aim chiefly through Minlation Family Centre to develop a broad service offer to families that expands to include supporting associated needs to care and education such as Allied Health, adult training and more. We look forward to engaging with the community on this exciting journey.
Service Approach & Educational Philosophy
Inspired by the “Reggio Emilia” approach to children our team focus on what is possible for a child, not what is their limitation. To achieve this we must keep quality at the heart of everything we do and deliver an environment for our team to achieve this. This is done with staff ratios above regulated minimums, significant investment in team skills and experience above minimums and delivering reward and recognition to our team that shows they are valued for the important role they play in the lives of our children. With a focus on quality this naturally carries over into the expectations on traditional values of Customer Service which is critical when dealing with young children and they strong emotions they can raise.

To further support our families, Yorke Peninsula Family Centres provide all enrolled families with access to a generous rewards program to foster their engagement in our small community and reward those able to dedicate time and effort to participate in activities with the children in our care.
Fees & Child Care Subsidy
All care is eligible for government subsidy support through Child Care Subsidy (CCS).
OFFERING INCLUDES:
- Meals are provided on a rotating menu tailored to meet allergy and dietary needs and recommended daily nutritional guidelines
- All nappy and associated supplies provided
- Experienced and Passionate staff.
- Qualified Early Childhood Teachers engaged across all age groups
- Any excursion or incursion experiences funded within standard daily fee
- Generous incentive program to foster family partnerships
